Why I wrote this guide.
Most people replace one roof in their life. The contractor across the table has done four hundred. This guide closes that gap before you sign anything: what a low quote leaves out, what gets found once the old shingles come off, and the questions a good roofer will be glad you asked.

When we measure your roof, you get one number. That number is locked for 30 days, so nothing moves while you think it over, get a second opinion, or talk it through at home.
If we open the roof and find something underneath that changes the work, we stop and show you before we touch it. You decide. Nothing gets added to your bill that you did not agree to first.
